The Organisation-Level Navigation Menu Customisation feature allows Organisation Manager users to personalise their organisation’s main navigation menu.
This enables organisations to tailor the menu structure to better suit their internal workflows by reordering menu items and controlling which options are visible to users.
All customisations are applied at organisation level and do not affect other organisations. Managers can also reset the menu back to the system default at any time. If no customisation is applied, the system will continue to display the default navigation menu.
Accessing Menu Customisation
Navigate to the Administration - Preferences.
Select Navigation Re-Ordering.
The current navigation menu structure will be displayed for editing.
Customising the Navigation Menu
Organisation Managers can customise the navigation menu using the available options:
Reorder Menu Items – Drag and drop menu items to change their order in the navigation.
Show/Hide Menu Items – Control the visibility of individual menu options based on organisational requirements.
These changes help ensure that users see the most relevant options first, improving ease of navigation and system usability.
Applying and Managing Changes
Once changes have been made:
Click Save Changes to apply the updated menu structure.
Click Reset to Default to revert the navigation menu back to the system default configuration.
All updates are applied immediately at organisation level.
Behaviour of Default Configuration
If no custom configuration is set, the system default navigation menu will be displayed.
Any saved customisation will override the default menu for that organisation only.
Other organisations will not be affected by these changes.
Summary
The Organisation-Level Navigation Menu Customisation feature provides Organisation Managers with the flexibility to control how the navigation menu is displayed within their organisation. By allowing menu reordering and visibility control, it improves usability and ensures users have quick access to the most relevant features.
