Subtitles and Closed Captions

How to enable subtitle and closed captions on mobile application

Written by Human-Focus

The Subtitles and Closed Captions feature allows you to view course videos captions in over 20 languages.
This helps you understand video content more easily in your native language.

You can enable subtitles and captions globally (for all training videos) or for a specific course.

Global Subtitles and Closed Captions Setting

This option can be enabled through your My Account.

When the global setting is turned on, the selected language will automatically apply to all videos across the application.

  • If captions are available in the selected language, they will display automatically when a video starts.

  • If captions are not available for a particular video, the system will display a message notifying you that captions for the selected language are unavailable.

This setting is ideal if you prefer to view all training videos with subtitles in one consistent language.

Course-Level Subtitles and Closed Captions Setting

Each course includes Subtitles and Closed Captions option.

When you start a course, you’ll see the Settings icon in the video.

Scroll to the bottom of the list.

If you select a specific language here, that language will apply to all videos for all courses available in the system.

When the caption language is changed using this option, the global setting will also update to the newly selected language.

Video-Level Subtitles and Closed Captions Setting

If you wish to view subtitles in a different language for specific course videos, you can adjust the setting for an individual video within the training.

Simply select your preferred language from the available options within the video player.

  • The change will apply only to that specific course videos.

  • It will not affect other videos or the global captions setting.

  • This selection will remain active only while you are viewing the current course.
