Audit Logging and Access to Audit Records
The Human Focus e-Learning platform maintains audit records for a wide range of user, administrative and system activities. These records help support accountability, data integrity, troubleshooting and the investigation of changes or security-related concerns.
What activities are logged?
Audit logging is implemented across various areas of the platform, including:
User Management: Creation, modification and removal of user accounts and changes to user information.
User Groups: Changes to user groups, group memberships and associated training assignments.
Training Records: Updates to training records, uploaded certificates and external training information.
Training Content: Changes to training content, course configurations and related settings.
e-Checklists and e-Folders: Relevant administrative activities, updates and changes to recorded information.
Organisation Settings: Changes to selected organisation configurations, permissions and licence settings.
System Activities: Selected system events, integration activities and application operations.
Depending on the activity, audit records may include the type of action performed, the date and time, the information affected and the user responsible for the action.
Audit Logging Coverage and Limitations
Human Focus maintains audit logs for a wide range of activities across the e-Learning platform. However, audit logging coverage varies depending on the feature, type of activity and system component involved.
While audit records are available for most key administrative and operational activities, not every user action or system event is necessarily recorded.
The level of detail and historical availability of records may also vary depending on the activity and applicable retention arrangements.
Can customer administrators access or export audit logs?
Audit logs are maintained internally by Human Focus and are not currently available for direct viewing or export by customer administrators through the e-Learning platform.
However, relevant audit records can be retrieved and provided to authorised customer representatives upon request, where available.
Requests are reviewed individually, and the information provided will depend on the nature of the request, available records and applicable security and data protection requirements.
How can I request audit records?
If you require audit records relating to your organisation, please contact the Human Focus Support Team.
When submitting a request, please provide as much relevant information as possible, such as:
The user account, training record or activity involved.
The approximate date or time period.
The type of information or change you wish to investigate.
A brief explanation of the reason for your request.
Our team will review the request and confirm what information can be made available.
Please note: Although Human Focus maintains audit records for many platform activities, the availability of specific historical records cannot be guaranteed in every case.
